13.5% abv, Granchet, Châteauneuf-le-Rouge, tasted at domaine. Biodynamic calendar: flower day. 

Winemaking notes: 50% Grenache Noir, 40% Cinsault & 10% Syrah, fermented for three weeks on the skins and aged in concrete tank and small French oak barrels, certified organic AB. 

Tasting note: the Cotes de Provence Rouge is medium garnet in color with a clean nose of medium+ intensity with aromas of violet, lavender, blackberry, crème de mure, black licorice, anise, dried apricot, tarragon and sage leaf. On the palate this wine is dry with medium acid, medium tannin, medium alcohol, medium flavor intensity and a medium+ finish with flavors of dried lavender, violet potpourri, blackberry, mulberry, black licorice, cedar, cream, bacon fat and a touch of white pepper and smoke. Drink now through 2027, this wine is very good: 9.4/10. A beautiful balance and some real finesse!
